This ranch features a metal equipment barn and an attached large covered shed. This could allow the future owner to possibly convert it either into a barndominium or simple hunting cabin. There is some new cross fencing that could be utilized for cattle or horses. An old set of cattle pens is located along the highway in the middle of the ranch.
Wildlife:
Zavala County has long been known to have some fantastic hunting. Wildlife in this area includes White-Tailed Deer, quail, dove, and hogs. Wing-shooting can also be excellent around water sources in this area and include Bob-White Quail and dove.
Habitat:
The ranch has a good mix of heavy brush areas and some more moderate size brush areas. All of the brush is consistent with common South Texas brush species. Most of the brush is comprised of Mesquite with a mix of other brush including Tasajillo, Lotebush, and Whitebrush. Good Buffel Grass can be found in areas throughout the ranch. With some clearing this could make a very good combination cattle and hunting ranch.
