The Klamath Basin is home to six national wildlife refuges supporting more than 350 species of resident and migratory birds. Bald eagles gather by the hundreds in the Klamath Basin each winter. Klamath also has some of the state's best fishing & hunting. Rainbow trout, ducks, geese, quail, pheasant, chuckar, turkeys, black-tailed deer, mule deer, rocky mountain elk, antelope, cougars, bear, bobcats, & coyotes are all plentiful in this outdoor paradise.
