Winchell River Ranch

Location: The Winchell River Ranch is located off McCulloch County Road 448, 4 miles East of State Highway 377 and 4.5 miles East of the community of Winchell, TX. Water: The entire Northern border of the ranch (approx. 4 miles) is the Colorado River. 166 acre-feet of senior water rights convey with the ranch and a submersible pump in the river provides the water to the 3 Valley irrigation pivot systems which can all be controlled via an app on a smartphone. The Ellenburger/San Saba and Hickory aquifers are believed to be beneath the ranch and there are currently two aforementioned water wells, approximately in addition to a windmill well.
