The Wagonhound pasture is an undeveloped 160+/- acre parcel of land located on Hot Springs County Road 15-10 near Cottonwood Creek, 25 miles west of Thermopolis. It adjoins B.L.M. and private rangeland with paved county road access. Wagonhound Creek is a seasonal drainage that has a spring fed subby bottom and adjoins a juniper and sandstone divide that is typical of the mountain foothills of the Bighorn Basin. Terrain ranges from flat to rolling hills with steep broken draws. Elevation ranges from approximately 5000 to 5300 feet. Upper reaches of the property offer vast views of the scenic Bighorn Basin and the surrounding Absaroka and Bighorn Mountains. Currently there are no roads on the property and it is unfenced with no improvements. Power is near the property.

Abundant wildlife in the area includes Deer, Antelope, Elk, as well as the common predators and small mammals of the area. Upland birds including Hungarian Partridge, Chukkar, and Sage Grouse are regular occupants of the property.
