Vernon Road is found in the eastern Texas Panhandle. The property lies to the west of McClellan Creek National Grassland and Lake McClellan about 3 miles. It is approximately 12 miles northeast of Groom and 22 miles south of Pampa. Amarillo is approximately a 55 mile drive to the west on Interstate 40.
