The home was originally constructed in the 1840s with locally harvested limestone rock and hardwoods. Newspapers found under the floors of the old structure indicate that it was partially remodeled and added onto during the 1940s, among them are old clippings about the war that uniquely date the work. The current owners of the ranch generously oversaw the meticulous restoration of the structure in 1997. The house is very comfortable and perfectly curated today, and begs the age-old saying, If these old walls could talk.
