Turner Farm

Location: This 782 acre cotton farm is located Near the community of Neinda and roughly between Hamlin and Anson in Jones County.

Acreage: 782+/- acres, all in cultivation with the exceptions of a couple of waterways and some gravely spots.

Water: This is a dry-land farm. There may be underground water available but it is not expected to be sufficient to irrigate.

FSA Program: The property is eligible to receive any qualified FSA programs if available.

Topography: Slope on this farm is nearly level to gently sloping. The soils are mostly Abilene Clay Loam and Winters Fine Sandy Loam which is one of the most productive soils in the county. The Cobb Complex soils on the east side of the farm are less desirable but are still capable of growing all locally grown crops.
