The area consists of open range, cropland and oak prairie habitat. There is a 1-acre pond that feeds the irrigation and a 6-acre lake supported by Dry Creek that provides waterfowl hunting, fishing for trout and basss, and draws in wildlife of all kinds. There are two blinds on the 6-acre lake, a pit blind for the geese in the field south of lake and multiple locations for blacktail deer, upland birds and wild turkey to be harvested. This acreage also allows two Land Owner Preference (LOP) tags for Elk and Deer and is located in the White River Basin, a tributary of the Deschutes River.

Travel here is easy. Less than two hours from Portland and the Portland International Airport, two hours from Bend, and only 1 12 hours from Redmond International airport, you will never have to go over a mountain pass to get here. Even easier if you have a small plane, you can land two miles away at the Pine Hollow airport with its 2,400-foot runway.
