From what I can tell, this parcel is the only private land holding in the area. It has a national forest behind it and Highway 22 and Detroit Reservoir in front of it. The only current access is by foot, but there are plenty of pull-outs along the highway to park and walk in. The lack of access would make getting the permits to log difficult, so the price is much less than even the estimated net of the timber. It could be used as a recreational retreat, mitigation, or conservation. Buyer to do their own due diligence on any intended use. Most of the trees are tall enough that they escaped any serious harm from the fire that burned the area a couple of years ago. Enter onto the property at your own risk as it is steep and the highway can be busy.
