You can explore the Suwannee River State Park on foot or by canoe. The park is at the intersection of the Suwannee and Withlacoochee rivers, patches of rain lilies spring up on earthen mounds built to defend against Union Navy gunboats. This park is alive with history. Visitors can see remnants of a nineteenth-century steamship and two ghost towns that have been reclaimed by the sandhill wilderness, which is home to diverse and imperiled native species.

Suwanneeland - Estate 3 is mostly cleared with scattered trees. The lot is fenced in, but the front portion of the fence needs some repairs. Estate 3 is located on a county maintained paved road and electricity is available to the front of the parcel. There is no requirement or timetable to build. However when you decide to build it must be 1,000 square feet or larger. Modular homes and mobile homes are allowed providing they meet the minimum square footage and are 10 years of age or newer when initially placed on the land. Farm animals are permitted with the exception of pigs.
