For location, you are close to the panhandle and the coast. This is a rare find with a virtually liter free creek with good flowing unpolluted water most of the year. This is a wooded property bordering Fort Rucker's 43,000 acres on the north end. That is a good thing. Claybank Creek runs 1.5 miles down the western boundary through dozens of acres of old-growth hardwoods. Most of the year this large creek runs clear to stained clear unless heavy rains stir up the clarity. Soon after it returns to clear. I have fly-fished and thrown several topwater baits proving my theory on the stocked creek idea. This is an unmolested stream that has a great private feel. Lake Tholocco is 4.5 miles upstream so there is surely an abundance of fish spilling over from the stocked lake. This is a proven fact yours truly.
