South Delta/Larto Lake

The property provides excellent deer and duck hunting. Enrolled in Wetland Reserve Program (2,313.7 acres), planted with various hardwood seedlings in the first quarter of 2006. The balance of the enrolled acreage is comprised of food plots and existing wetlands. The remaining 252.14 acres, more or less, not in the WRP, is comprised of roads, barrow pits, levees and woodland along Larto Lake. The barrow pits provide good fishing and alligator hunting. The 63.4 acres of established food plots are within the WRP area. Approximately 9,240 feet of frontage on Larto Lake. There is a 17 acre camp area along LA Hwy 3102. Utilities are in proximity to the property. The property borders Dewey Wills WMA on two sides for about 3.5 miles. There is 7 miles of interior access roads located through the property. Hard boundaries with some low fencing.
