Walker Farms is a well maintained Breeder Poultry Farm with four 40 x 500 houses in Dale County, Alabama. Two houses were built in 2011 and connected with shared cooler room and office. Both use chain feeders. Another two houses were built in 2013 with individual cooler/collection egg rooms and pan feeders. All houses use plastic slats, Rotem Platinum Plus controllers, and Total Radio 24/7 call-alert notification system. The farm is contracted with Pilgrims Pride, has two diesel generators with adjacent storage sheds, two incinerators with 250 gallon diesel fuel tanks and 16 acres +/- to be sold with the farm. No known upgrades are required at this time .Pilgrims has offered a 3 cent increase in our hatch egg pay for a conversion to LED lighting and white painted walls.
