Small Wooded Parcel Near Thousands Of Acres Of Public Hunting Land

Now and then a small parcel comes on the market that has endless potential. Ability so subdivide, close to a large metropolitan market and thousands of acres to roam nearby. This is that property! I found two elevated box blinds and a well established trail system. There is evidence of a deer camp from a by gone era as well. The concrete pad and sand point well are still useable as far as I can tell! For many years people have traveled to the Barron's area of Polk county to hunt deer and bear and the tradition lives on in this region. I personally know of some really dandy bucks and bear that come out of it as my friends killed them. But, I would say this area is best known for its number of deer. This would make a great weekend get away and an opportunity to introduce a young hunter to our sport.
