Salmon Creek Homestead

3,500 MBF mature Douglas-fir timber. 3,850 MBF total volume. Beautiful location on Salmon and Deer Creeks near Powers Oregon.

Located near the town of Powers in Coos County Oregon, the Salmon Creek Homestead sits in a beautiful location rich with timber, streams, meadows, and wildlife. Salmon Creek, a large fish-bearing stream, loops into the property mid-way along the west property line.

The majority of the value in this property is in the high quality, 50-75 year-old timber on 211 acres. The timber was cruised in August 2020 by Stuntzner Engineering and Forestry. There is an estimated 3.85 million board feet of predominantly Douglas-fir timber. From the homestead area, the slopes climb steeply up to a high ridge, the highest point of which is ~1250 in elevation. There are also ~13.5 acres of 15-30 year old Douglas-fir plantation. (Detailed cruise reports available upon request.)
