This 83+/- acres in Saline County has some of the best whitetail habitat you will find anywhere. Food plots adjacent to extremely thick bedding areas are sure to hold giant Illinois bucks, and these types of areas are prevalent on this farm. A stocked pond sits in the middle of the property to supply water to the many critters found here.
There is a 60+/- state owned, no hunting area that joins this property to the north, and many of the big deer harvested here have come directly from that area. Adjoining landowners are casual hunters, and practice QDMA, which is vital when trying to grow mature deer on smaller acreages. Tree stand and ground blind sites are established, so all the new owner has to do is show up and hunt!

Land Specialist opinion:
When I walked this property, I immediately saw the potential of this property. The habitat is there: Excellent bedding cover, water, good neighbors, a 60 acre refuge that joins the property, established clover food plots, and no doubt great genetics that are found nearly everywhere in the Land of Lincoln.
Ideally, I would like to see a variety of food sources. Turnips, radishes, alfalfa, and certainly grain will make this property a smoking hunting property. These food sources will pull these bruiser bucks from their beds into areas where they can be consistently harvested. Nothing beats grain when the snow flies, and the addition of beans/corn on this property will make your late season hunting opportunities second to none.
