LAND: Red Creek Canyon Ranch is 3,480 acres. There is approximately 300 feet of elevation change climbing up from where Red Creek meets the Double Mountain Fork of the Brazos River through the gorges and up to the mesas and acres in cultivation. Ranch roads and ATV trails provide good access across the property by winding around the canyons and along various fingers and uplands.

A county-maintained road leads you to the ranch headquarters. The perimeter fencing is in fair to good condition with a couple areas needing fence improvements. The entire northern boundary is an 8-foot high tensile game fence with galvanized pipe and t-posts. There are four sets of cattle pens constructed with steel pipe located across the property. Water is piped to each set of pens.

WILDLIFE: The expansive canyon country provides numerous hideouts for wildlife in and around the property. Wildlife that inhabit the area are whitetail deer, mule deer, feral hogs, Rio Grande turkeys, as well as, mourning doves with occasional white winged doves, bobwhite quail, coyotes, bobcats, and various other varmints. Aoudad sheep are also present on the property. The same few hunters have leased the property for over 20 years.
