This exceptional recreational ranch is an ideal weekend retreat for residents of Lubbock, Amarillo or surrounding areas. The terrain includes many elevation changes including one of the highest points off the Caprock in Motley and adjoining counties. There are two residences located on the highest point on the ranch. One is a 1100 sq. ft. metal building containing a two-bedroom apartment with a large living/dining area, kitchen and bath plus a large covered patio and a covered porch across entire the north side of the building. This structure was built in 2010, was heavily insulated with sprayed foam and fiberglass insulation and contains a high-quality Carrier heating/air conditioning unit. The second residence is a 10-year-old, 400 sq. ft. mobile home with one bedroom, living room, kitchen, bath and loft. It has a large covered deck with a great views.
There is also a metal barn with concrete floor, garage door and walk-in door used to house 3 ATVs plus a covered equipment shed used to house a tractor, trailer and other equipment. A modern septic system serves both homes. Water is currently hauled from the town of Flomot but it is likely that the homes could be connected to a city water line that is approximately 1000 ft. from them.
The ranch has a good cover of grass plus much cedar and mesquite brush. Cattle and wildlife obtain water from two earthen tanks. The cattle grazing on the ranch is currently leased to a neighboring ranch that lies to the east and north of Red Bluff Ranch. There are no fences separating these ranches but there is good fencing on the south and west sides of the ranch.
