The North 40:
Most of this property has been enrolled in CRP since the fall of 2015. Therefore, the habitat has been established to attract and hold pheasants throughout the fall hunting season. A creek runs through the northeast portion of the property. Surrounding the creek are areas of willows and hardwood trees. This additional woody habitat makes a great travel corridor for wildlife moving through the area. While walking this property, my dog flushed multiple pheasants, we saw ducks on the creek and buck rubs in the willows. This property has county road access with two established field approaches.
CRP Contract:
There are 40.13 total acres enrolled in CRP. The contract expires in the fall of 2030. The annual CRP payment is $8,349.
