Directions

At north entrance to Twelve-Mile Wildlife Management Area, enter Order Canyon on South Hollow Road. Stay to the right entering dense shrub (to left are wildlife reservoir and recreational trails). South Hollow Road reconnects south of second loop, about 300 feet to west is Southeast property corner monument at fence corner (mid-Section 10). Looking north up on ridge is exposed white shale area, approximate north boundary about 1500-feet. There are numerous trails to the top, recommended route: continue south on South Hollow, south of last cabin on east slope, through cattle grate, take first right to begin gentle ascent to steep/narrow lose shale of about 100-feet. At ridge top turn right, second open cattle gate is south boundary, north of northernmost cabin.
