Beginning with natural Spring ponds, both the West and main fork of Camerons Creek meander through the property creating some very nice ravines lined with Balsam, Spruce and Pine along the edges. The timber across the rest of the property is a mix of Aspen, Maple, Birch, Red Pine, White Pine and Oak with pockets of Alder and wetland. Several Beaver ponds dot the creek bottoms along the creek corridors also creating habitat for waterfowl and watering holes for the game. The Whitetail and Black Bear hunting in this area are tremendous, as well as very high numbers of Ruffed Grouse. This has been the main camp location for Mike Noskoviak’s Superior Guides and Outfitters for many years and has been featured in multiple outdoor magazines such as Petersons Bowhunting, Outdoor Life, and the NRA’s American Hunter in 2011 just to name a few. The land has produced Bucks scoring as high as 217 Gross B&C and regularly offers 140 to 180-inch Whitetails. In the last 15 years we have also harvested 6 different Black Bear Boars green scoring over 21 inches and I know of no other Outfitters in Wisconsin with this kind of numbers. Its all attributed to very low outside hunting pressure and the ability for Whitetail and Bear in the area to reach maturity combined with great habitat. This property also includes frontage on the famed Bad River amidst the beautiful river valley. The river in this area holds a high number of Trophy size Musky and Smallmouth Bass, as well as excellent Walleye fishing. The river is navigable with a 16 foot flat bottom for several miles by outboard, and even further by Jet drive. The Bad River below Copper Falls State Park and Lake Superior where the River feeds Lake Superior is generally a slow-moving fertile estuary and some of the best fishing you’ll find anywhere in the State. The access to the river is extremely limited and this is an exclusive location. The land is truly a wildlife mecca.
