The Roadhouse is open seven days a week year round and takes great pride in providing an Alaskan experience in a very comfortable rustic atmosphere with all the comforts of home offering comfortable beds and home cooked meals. The lodge is outfitted to cook for groups and also provides an open menu for breakfast, lunch, dinner and for those un-announced - spur of the moment travelers. The lodge can accommodate up to 18 people comfortably. The lodge has running water, bathrooms and hot showers, queen size beds, cable TV and wireless internet. The property also has two heated cabins that can accommodate a small or large party (4-8) they are rustic although quite comfortable. They have no running water, so you can really appreciate the Alaskan adventure. They each have their own private privies ~ the Alaskan out house. Skwentna Roadhouse offers summer fun offering guests floats trips or fly-in private stream fishing ~ fish a different creek or river every day ~ camp out or stay at the lodge. Spin cast fishing and fly-fishing for the wild Alaska salmon, Rainbow Trout, Dolly Varden and the prehistoric Great Northern Pike. Fishing licenses & King salmon tags are available at Roadhouse along with boats to rent and gear supplying hip boots, rods & reels, tackle, and personal safety life vests.
