Piney Woods is located in northwestern Worth County near the community of Oakfield, less than 1.5 miles east of the Flint River. The area offers what many hunters regard as the best trophy whitetail deer hunting in Georgia. The property is well located; approximately 30 minutes from Albany and Cordele, and easily accessible from I-75 exits at Cordele traveling south, and Ashburn traveling north.
Piney Woods is surrounded on three sides by the 30,000-acre Aultman Forest, and to the west by another high-quality trophy managed property. The property features include numerous stands of planted pines and hardwoods surrounding wildlife food plots, two ponds, and a border along Jones Creek, a Flint River tributary.
