FISHING: Channel cats and crappie are routinely caught from this section of the river. Boatsman Slough is a deep channel, year-round water feature, providing excellent areas to catch catfish and crappie (the crappie show above were caught on this portion of Boatsman near where it runs into the Angelina River earlier this year when the crappie were running). Also, whenever the river floods, the fishing opportunities open up even more, with the ability to fish for crappie in the flooded fields, and catfish by way of trot lines in the flooded timber. Also, it was purported by the seller that in 2017 a 7 foot alligator gar was taken by means of bow-fishing. The fishing on this property truly exceptional.

HUNTING: The duck hunting on this property is also second to none. Two blinds are located on the property, one in the field area, and one off the river in the timber area.
