Situated just outside of Meeker, Oak Ridge Ranch is what you’ve been waiting for! Whether it be used for hunting, livestock, building a dream palace, recreational retreat, or a combination of any, this ranch has it all! As you access the ranch from Highway 13, the land is comprised of rolling sagebrush hills with drainages that creep into a pinyon and oak brush covered butte that conveniently secludes the upper portion of the ranch, providing many great locations for development potential as there are no surrounding houses or highway in sight!As the land continues to roll into a steep slope of thick oak brush, many open meadows are present with nearby ponds that attract various species of wildlife.

As far as any livestock operations, the ranch has been broken up into several different pastures with excellent perimeter and cross fencing. Additionally, there is a quality set of working corrals with chutes located on the property. Furthermore, Oak Ridge Ranch is well complemented by 7 ponds, which some of them hold water most of the year. The ranch features diverse habitat with good vegetation and is great for not only livestock, but the wildlife that the ranch is home to as well. Because of the habitat and privacy this ranch features, it is common to encounter resident elk and deer roaming throughout the ranch year-round, therefore hunting is nearly guaranteed to be successful in each season every year.

Located in both GMU 22 and GMU 23, the hunting on this ranch is what dreams are made of! The ranch does qualify for land owner vouchers in addition to over-the-counter elk tags available for 2nd and 3rd rifle seasons, whilst deer tags are draw only. GMU 22 has over-the-counter spring and fall turkey tags available, whereas GMU 23 only has over-the-counter fall turkey tags.

Location

Oak Ridge Ranch is conveniently located just 15 minutes south of Meeker which has a few restaurants, gas stations, grocery store, hardware stores, and a hospital. In the other direction, the ranch is located approximately 30 minutes north of Rifle which has many other stores and amenities to satisfy ones needs or interests. Craig is roughly 1 hour north of the ranch. For commercial flights, both Yampa Valley Regional Airport (located in Hayden) and Grand Junction Regional Airport (located in Grand Junction) are located within 1 hour and 30 minutes of the ranch.
