North Woodland Rancho contains prime loamy soils utilized in the cultivation of row crops (tomatoes, sunflowers, etc.) and includes a 120 acre stand of alfalfa. Groundwater resources have been developed and include two operating deep well pumping plants equipped with electric motor and turbine pumps. Production from the wells yields approximately 6,000 GPM which is an abundant amount of water for irrigation needs. North Woodland Rancho may be suitable for some tree crops and is also a candidate for farmland or habitat conservation for mitigation needs.
The farm has over 1 mile of public road frontage along County Road 102 and is in close proximity to the services and supplies provided from the City of Woodland, which is the seat of county government for the County of Yolo.
