For the fisherman, the large freshwater pond is stocked with Florida black bass, Rio Grande perch, plenty of baitfish and the occasional catfish. Its a short walk to multiple saltwater lakes to catch redfish, speckled trout, black drum, and long-nose gar. The 100 plus acres of grassland sits out of the floodplain and grows species of Angleton bluestem, coastal bermudagrass, and other native grasses.
Whitetail Deer, quail, feral hogs, coyotes, and bobcats are often spotted in the adjacent woods and 100+ acres of grassland. The Mullins Bayou Ranch is truly a hunting and fishing paradise.
Agriculture and Taxes: The property is currently ag exempt. 2021 taxes are $2116. This property has been continually used as a cow calf operation since 2006, and 30 acres annually produces Angleton bluestem hay.
