The Carson Estates is an undeveloped subdivision and is one of the closest rural subdivisions to Taos. People there share the common ideas of off grid living and being able to do with your land what you want to do.
These four lots are across the street from US Forest Service Land. This is part of many thousands of acres of US Forest Service Land and BLM land that run throughout the Carson National Forest. And this is a nice road, which gives easy access to these properties all the way from the subdivision entrance.

These properties are Lots D, E, F, and G in Block 11 of Unit 5. Lots E and F have northern frontage on the above-mentioned road. Lots F and G have platted road frontage on their west sides, which you could grade in if desired. Lots D and E have platted road frontage on their east sides, which you could also grade in if you want to do that. These four adjoining lots combine for approximately 1 acre.
Carson Estates is lightly sloping to the south and is bordered on the east by hundreds of acres of BLM land and on the north by thousands of acres of the Carson National Forest.
Almost all of the area south and west of the subdivision is also national forest land. This will help to preserve the area and protect it from overbuilding. This also protects the wildlife which is why you will see deer, elk, pronghorn antelope, and black bear grazing in this area. The region is covered in mountain sagebrush and native grasses with some juniper and pine.
