This mountain retreat is located approximately 43-minutes from the city of Boise, Idaho, and is just off Highway 21 as you head north, towards the historic town of Idaho City.  Residents enjoy the nearby Robie Creek Park which is in the Mores Creek arm of Lucky Peak Reservoir.  Lucky Peak is a scenic area nestled between the tall basalt cliffs at the confluence of Mores Creek and Robie Creek.  It is a popular place for a day excursion which includes shelters, grills, restrooms, playground equipment, and a dedicated swim area. The large open lawn is suited for picnics and recreating while enjoying the beautiful mountain scenery at the edge of the Boise National Forest.
