126 acres with a 1/2 mile of frontage on Highway US 64. Power zig-zags through the property. There is an old ranch well just off the east boundary of this parcel. It is included in the CC&Rs as a possible well share with adjoining lot owners. The "Old Taos Highway" runs through this land. It is rumored that the ancient Spanish Conquistadors used to travel this highway carrying the gold they'd mined out of the Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range. It is believed that along this Old Taos Highway they used to bury their gold to preserve it from marauding outlaws. Hence, we named this area, Tierras del Oro Mistico (Land of Mistic Gold).
There is the John Dunn Bridge just east of the land with hot springs, river rafting, fishing and hiking trails.

Please give us a call so we can discuss what you're looking for...We're five miles north of the big Rio Grande Bridge. We've been developing land in Taos County for 30 years now as a means of funding our feature films. So, we have other pieces of land sprinkled around the county also available.

Research Parcel InformationYou can take US 64 north-west out of Taos (from what we still call the "Blinking Light"even though it hasn't blinked for a few decades) and go out over the big Rio Grande Bridge, towards Tres Piedras. Once over the bridge continue on US-64 for apx. 5-6 miles. You'll go past the Greater World Earthship Colony on the right, and then past the Double D Ranch entrance on the right and less than a mile after that the highway takes a 45 degree turn to the NW and you will see the gate to Mistico on your right.
