Welcome to the big woods in Midland County. If youre looking for seclusion yet still near the amenities of a big town, this maybe youre place. Midland is about 6 miles to the SE and Sanford maybe 3 miles to the SW. 20 fully wooded acres with a smallish deep pond and a 16 x 16 rustic cabin / camp / deer blind. The cabin has propane heat and lights, with room for 4 to sleep. Path to bath think thats the upscale way to say outhouse? The seller had gravel brought in so theres a solid place to park. The driveway is gated and locked. Theres a 200-yard gun range set up in case you need to sight in the rifle, or just enjoy the shooting sports.
The woods are comprised of oaks, maples, poplars, beech, and some pine up front toward the road. Its a fairly open woods so navigating around isnt a problem. Id still suggest a good compass if youre headed off into the adjoining state land. Its big area...
The woods are comprised of oaks, maples, poplars, beech, and some pine up front toward the road. Its a fairly open woods so navigating around isnt a problem. Id still suggest a good compass if youre headed off into the adjoining state land. Its big area especially if you wander off to the NE. Might be a while before you find another road going that way. Lots of room over there if you have some friends that want to come up for deer or turkey season.
The property has 3 deer blinds in place, all with plenty of well used deer runs in view. The blind to the back I suspect will be needing some TLC before being used. There are some small openings that could be turned into food plot locations.
This one is going to make someone a nice set up for the coming fall hunting season. Give us a ring and lets get you in the woods. Youll need an appointment and a real estate agent to be on the property please. Seller isnt sure if it has been surveyed, but there are some line posts to be seen along the edges.
