M & E Ranch

The M & E Ranch is a well-balanced and efficient 5,761 acre ranch located 20 miles north of Columbus, Montana. The ranch has been in the same family for decades and it has been meticulously maintained and managed. This is a production cattle ranch that can easily support 300 animal units with minimal labor.

The ranch and its surrounding area are known for strong grass and mild winters. Cattle in this area typically need less than 1.5 tons/head of feed per winter. This property boasts 1,400 acres of tillable hay ground which provides more than enough feed for the entire cow herd. These meadows are mostly freshly renovated into alfalfa.
