Los Corrales Ranch is a long time owned South Texas hunting and cattle ranch located about 14 miles west of Hebbronville. The current owners are ancestors of the Bruni Family and the ranch has been passed down over the years. Terrain is level to gently rolling, with a couple of minor draws that carry drainage. The land is covered in native grasses with a nice variety of mixed brush, mesquites and other hardwoods common to the area. Soils in this area are sandy to sandy loam, which are critical to providing a suitable habitat for quail. There are four water wells strategically located across the ranch. This property is a blank canvas that is partially high fenced with a good whitetail population and excellent dove and quail hunting.

The terrain is most suitable to support a strong quail population with its rolling grasslands and mixed brush. The ranch has plenty of senderos cut out to run quail rigs or hunt with dogs. There is a good whitetail population, which feeds on 11 corn feeders, multiple protein feeders and native brush with high nutritional content. There are a couple of nice elevated points that would serve as a strategic location for a tower blind. Excellent dove hunting in the open areas and near the stock tanks. There are common sightings of turkey, javelina and other animals native to South Texas.
Currently under an Ag Exemption, the owners have done a good job of avoiding overgrazing. The ranch has been leased to a lessee that has worked Corriente cattle for many years, which is a breed known for being beneficial to rangeland wherever they are pastured.
Electricity is readily available with a line traversing east to west and another that runs southwest to northeast. There are two existing electric meters on the property, one located in the center of the ranch where an old cabin rests and a second that provides electricity to a submersible pump at the south end of the ranch.
IMPROVEMENTS
There is an old hunters cabin and a few old storage sheds that have been used over the years.
WILDLIFE
This South Texas ranch is in an area known for vegetation with high nutrition content. Frequent sightings of quail, whitetail deer, dove, turkey, javelina and other wildlife native to the area.
