The ranch ranges from lower flats at an elevation of approximately 7,030 feet to a high point of about 7,100 feet. Vegetation on the ranch caries from juniper and pinyon with a few ponderosa on the higher points to sagebrush on the flats interspersed with grama, brome, and wheat grasses and well as a variety of forbs.

Located in unit 5A the hunting is excellent in the area and elk and deer often visit the property.
