Have you ever dreamed of owning your own hunting oasis? Do you like the idea of a hunting camp for you and your friends and family? The ability to have that is right here! From the minute you see the thick timber approaching this farm from east or west you know that the potential to possess and keep the wildlife is there. Once you open the gate off the gravel road and follow the manicured grass strip south down the tree-lined lane you know you have found base camp! The lane leads down the terrain into an open grass field that could easily be planted in a food plot to attract and keep the deer from all around the area.

This would be the ideal spot for the cabin or camber to be set for hunting camp, as the current owners had utilized this until a tree destroyed their camp a few years ago. From the old camp is where the trail that winds through most of the property starts. The farm features roughly 5 miles of Bear Creek winding through it that not only produces a water source for the wildlife but great views and a rock bottom throughout most of it. It is the home of many wood ducks as I jumped multiple groups on a tour recently. I'm sure the creek is loaded with artifacts such as arrowheads and bird points. The rock enthusiast will stay busy walking the banks and channel of Bear Creek.
The trail that leads most of the way through the property is obviously an established scrape line for many of the bucks roaming the property. Just about every overhanging branch is a lick branch with a fresh scrape under it. The turkey population is strong also, the scratches and feathers in the timber ridges are a telltale sign of a strong population. The flock was even chirping and gobbling at us on our photo shoot of the property.
