From I-25 and Exit 242 proceed East on NM 165 for approx.. 6.7 miles thru the Village and just past Placitas Elementary. You then turn left onto Camino de las Huertas. Proceed for approx. 2.7 miles. You will go down a very steep winding part of the road and then abruptly up again. Towards the top of the steep rise, turn left onto Windmill Trail.
