So, you're looking for a piece of hunting land close to home, easy access, secluded, wooded, near a food source, with a good population of wildlife? Well you're in luck.....I just found it. 26 mostly wooded acres, located on a paved road, maybe a mile off M-46. Just outside the village of Kingston. Main part of the property sets 1200+ ft back off the road. That'll get you back away from the neighbors. Plenty of food for the critters. Large clover field abutting the north edge of the property, and many more acres of farm land in close proximity. Good population of deer and turkeys.
Property is a combination of both rolling woods, a couple nice ridges, some wet areas, and a drain that comes in from the neighbors farms to the south. Property is a combination of both rolling woods, a couple nice ridges, some wet areas, and a drain that comes in from the neighbors farms to the south. Wooded areas consist of both hard and soft maples, poplars, cheery, birch, and likely a few oaks too. The southwest and northeast areas of this one are mostly high ground, with the wet areas sandwiched in between. Very cool narrow ridge that winds across the rear of the parcel down thru the woods. Appeared to have been used by ATV's many years ago. Will need some chain saw work to reopen that path.
Found good amounts of deer sign, tracked up runways, buck rubs, fresh deer beds, and I jumped a few walking thru the woods, and along the fence row heading back to the main part of the property. Give me a ring if you'd like to wander this one.
Address shows is not actual, but it will get you close. Aerial shown is estimated. Property has been surveyed.
