Jack Fork Hunting Tract is named for it being located in the heart of the Jack Fork Mountains of Southeast Oklahoma. The Jack Fork Mountains are a sub-structure of the Ouchita Mountains that extend throughout southeastern oklahoma and western Arkansas. The Jack Fork area is known for its scenic and rugged Pine covered mountains and its fertile valleys that provide productive soils for the local ranchers. This area is also know for its excellent hunting opportunities for Whitetail Deer and Eastern Wild Turkey.
