Ivanhoe

The Ivanhoe Creek property is located just outside the town of Walterboro, SC, in the ACE Basin of the Lowcountry. Most of the property lies within the floodplain of Ivanhoe Creek watershed, the headwaters of the Ashepoo River. This rare water feature provides fishing opportunities and abundant numbers of wood ducks during the winter months. The topography is flat, and like many Lowcountry properties, this tract can get wet during rainy periods. Located on the southeast portion of the tract, there are approximately 17 +/- acres of high ground suitable for most applications. The property's footprint is unusual; it is nearly 1000 feet wide and 5000 feet long; this allows it to hunt like a much larger tract, providing spacious hunting grounds for deer and turkey. Access is limited to only one entry point on Highway 17-A, with no internal vehicular roads.
