The hilltop views from two dominant points, begging for a new cabin or home, offer simply one of a kind view of the mountain ranges in all directions as well as Wister Lake just north. Soils are conducive to production of grasses or wildlife food plots. Terrain is nearly level to gently sloping on the open pastures and meadows on the east side, rising up the two dominant peak ridges on the west before dropping off to the banks of Holson Creek. There are the remains of an old homestead and times gone by on the flat above the creek and overlooking the pasture. COMMENTS: This is a such a very unique combo property that words really have a hard time adequately describing. Beautiful homestead locations, excellent pasture potential and with perimeter on three sides adjoining to a State WMA the hunting opportunities are just fantastic. The view from either of the two hilltops is simply spectacular and must see to appreciate. There are few places that offers such a superb homesite. Nestled in the valley of the mountains-Ouachitas, Sugarloaf, Cavanal, East Sans Bois, with a direct view of Wister Lake just to the north, just total awesome. With three sides adjoining Wister PWA, neighbor encroachment is not an issue, your only neighbors are gonna be the wildlife so abundant in the area. You are a short walk through the woods down the old abandoned wagon road to some bank fishing on a mountain stream which also catches the spring spawn run from Wister Lake. May pick you up an arrowhead on the stroll, they are very abundant in the area. A boat ramp for Wister Lake is just down the dead end road to this place. The Ouachita National Forest, with over a million acres, is just south a very few miles. Recreation, hunting, fishing, agriculture, scenery, ISOLATION, its all here!
