The Iorg Farm is located adjacent to the Cottonwood Reservoir and the nearby Bullock Reservoir for the angler. Cottonwood is one of the most unique fishing lakes in the area, featuring trout, tiger musky, and bass. Two large ponds have also been built on the property that make the fishing on the property all the sweeter. Fishing is not the only thing that make this property unique, it is also ideal for hunting! The wildlife on property is absolutely abundant, with pheasants, turkeys, quail, ducks, geese, doves, deer, and antelope all frequenting the property. The landowner can receive doe deer tags, cow elk tags, and doe antelope tags in addition to over-the-counter hunting availability and the possibility of drawing a buck deer tag.

Recreation also abounds in the local area. The renowned Flaming Gorge Reservoir is just a short drive away, and is one of the best fishing spots in the state. Featuring lake trout, rainbow trout, brown trout, kokanee salmon, and even 30 pound lake trout, with the record weighing over fifty pounds. The green river below the dam has blue ribbon trout fishing with giant brown trout and rainbow trout. In fact, there are over 15,000 trout per mile along this magnificent river.

Ashley National Forest is approximately 1.4 million acres, and 276,175 of this total are High Uintas wilderness. Kings Peak, the highest mountain in Utah, is also located in the High Uintas range.

The 210,844 acre Dinosaur National Monument and visitor quarry are another great attraction in the area that features fossilized dinosaur bones. The quarry is very child friendly and not to be missed. Echo Park is also located inside the monument. This unique spot is where the Green and Tampa rivers converge.

Water/Mineral Rights & Natural Resources

As mentioned above, 160 shares of the Moffat water canal, 100 acres of the Green River Water Exchange, as well as 150 acres irrigated with well water, and a new 500 foot well that produces 25 gallons per minute.

The production ground on property is irrigated with a Valley 8000 Pivot and wheel lines and another 55 acres of pasture is under development to add water.
