Hwy 588 Gravel Tract

The 9-acre parcel has a proposed 4-acre gravel pit that is in the advanced stage of MDEQ approval. The site is located on Hwy 588, just 6 miles from Hwy 84 in eastern Covington County and convenient to the cities of Collins, Laurel and beyond. There are engineering estimates of 200,000+ cubic yards of class 3, 4, and 5 clay gravel or engineering fill. The preliminary surveys have been completed such as wetlands delineation, cultural survey, and TandE species surveys. Also, an MDOT permit has been requested for a construction entrance onto Hwy 588.
