The lodge is located on ten private acres with oak, pecan, crepe myrtle, & fruit trees, near Hwy 71 between Eagle Lake and El Campo, and just an hour from Houston. The 8400sqft lodge and cabins have recently been completely renovated. Enjoy your rocker or porch swing on the 12 ft. deep wrap-around covered country porch. Enter the lodge to be greeted by a entry hall that opens to a 20X15 rustic office in front of you, a 74X50 Great Room to your left featuring 16ft high vaulted ceilings, solid pine walls, a large stone fireplace, and his & hers half baths. To the right of the hallway you will find a 15X25 kitchen with marble floors, two five ft. stainless tables, commercial stainless sinks, and a large stainless refrigerator. The L-shaped dining area has a weathered corrugated metal ceiling, beautiful hand scraped wood floors, electric fireplace, bar serving area, and plenty of room to entertain a large party. The private residence can be reached from the Great Room or from an outside door. It has two bedrooms, an open living/dining area, and a full bath. In addition there are four fully furnished one bedroom kitchenette apartments with full bath. Also, there are two larger kitchenette cabins that are fully furnished with private full baths and covered porch. There is additional space for two more cabins to be built. Additional amenities include a laundry building with two washers & two dryers, a gun range, a kennel, a play ground, and plenty of room to roam. Excellent duck, geese, and deer hunting in the area.
