Location: This property is located approximately 5 miles southeast of Toledo, AR or 1 miles east southeast of the intersection of AR State Highway 35 and Hollis Road. Hollis Road South Tract is located south of that portion of Hollis Road that the county has abandoned and no longer maintains. Historical access to the property was by way of a logging road off Hollis Road across the eight acre out piece. The logging road is grown up and inaccessible by vehicle. The best access to view the property is by foot from Hollis Road in a southerly direction along the west red painted property line of the SW of the NE of Section 35 to the southeast corner of the out parcel of the Hollis Road South Tract.
Tract Description: The Hollis Road South Tract is described as part of the SE of the NW , less approximately 8 acres in the northeast corner of SE of the NW in Section 35, Township 9 South, Range 10 West, Cleveland County, Arkansas, containing 31.57 acres, more or less. The tract is located about 7 miles southeast of downtown Rison, Arkansas. According to the NRCS Web Soil Survey the predominant soils in the upland portion of the property are Savannah and Susquehanna very fine sandy loams which exhibit an average native site index of 78 feet (base age 50) for loblolly pine and in the lower portions of the property, along the creek, Wehadkee soils are the predominant soils which exhibit an average native site index of 93feet (base age 50) for sweetgum. The timber on the property consists of a mixed stand of natural pine and hardwood timber. The property has been recently surveyed and all of boundaries are marked with boundary line paint (see attached map for boundary line paint colors).
