This region is known for excellent glacial lakes, fishing, wild and wooly hills, and stunning valley views, and the Den is no exception! The driveway into the property led us past a glittering pond with a hen Blue-winged Teal and her ducklings. We continued up the drive to a mature grove of old Cottonwood trees and a cozy cabin sheathed in corrugated steel. Several Whitetail Deer trails branched off through the grass, and we found many beds near the dugout along the western property boundary. Buck antlers freshly rubbed the young Willow trees ringing the dugout pond, and a doe and her fawn sprang out of the brush and headed northwest toward the mature pines. This property is an ideal location for a hunting camp, hobby farm, or homestead.
