Highland Ranch

Located 35 miles northeast of Gillette and just east of Weston, Highland Ranch totals 12,158 acres, with 2,194 deeded and 9,964 U. S. Forest Service lease. The ranch is rated at 350 mother cows, plus appropriate bulls and ranch horses. The terrain consists of rolling dryland hayfields and deep grass-filled draws topped with pine ridges falling off into timbered canyons. The ranch grows good Wyoming hard grasses known for putting significant gains on cattle. Approximately 300 acres of the deeded acreage is productive dryland hay ground seeded to grass and grass/alfalfa mix. Ranch improvements include two modular homes, two well-built shops, a large calving barn, several outbuildings and an excellent set of working corrals. The ranch also offers abundant big game hunting opportunities for trophy mule deer, whitetail deer, antelope and elk.
