Henrietta Cattle Ranch - three ponds, lots of grass!

This cattle ranch is in really good shape, with lots of thick grasses! It hasnt been grazed in over a year and is ready to use. The ranch is located at the northwest corner of Wiist and Hohenstein Rd., just a few miles west of Henrietta, and also has frontage on Herring Rd. on its west side. All of these roads have a strong gravel base and provide easy year around access to all parts of the property.

The ranch is ran as one pasture. It has a variety of grasses, including coastal, bluestem, and buffalo. There is a 20 acre field that the owner used to grow coastal hay on; he now has it open with the rest of the pasture for grazing, but it could be set aside again for hay production. With such a variety of grasses, this property can sustain 30 cow/calf pairs annually, and more on a wet year.
