There is also another small cabin that could be renovated and utilized as well. In the camp area you will also find a metal shed with a concrete floor and pull through roll up doors with a covered concrete patio just beside it. There is also a set of cattle pens located just South of the camp area.
Water:
There are 2 water wells located adjacent to the main house area. The water wells supply water to the main house, water troughs, and small pond located just South of the house.
Wildlife:
Wildlife common to this ranch and area are White-Tailed Deer, Rio Grande Turkey, and Feral Hogs. This area of South Texas is well known for having great quail hunting. The ranch has some very large neighbors and there are no known high fences for miles.
Habitat:
The habitat on this ranch is made up of native South Texas brush. Some parts of the ranch have extremely heavy cover and other parts have motte-like scattered brush. This is ideal habitat when your trying to grow both deer and quail. Cattle have also not been ran on the ranch for quite some time allowing native grasses and vegetation to flourish. An area in the northwest portion of the ranch has just been cleared and improved for quail and livestock purposes. This ranch with its abundant grasses would also make for an excellent cattle operation.
