The Estancia Ranchettes are situated in Torrance County, which is one of the most productive agricultural counties in the United States. The community has very close ties to the land and the locals place high value in their heritage and ties to the mountains. There are also several archaeological and historic sites in the area including the extensive mission ruins of Abo, Gran Quivira, and Quarai.

Whitewater raft on the Rio Chama or Rio Grande. Take a beautiful tour driving the Santa Fe National Forest Scenic Byway.
