The +-439 acre aesthetic Jarrell Farm on the Flint River has been in the same family for generations and boast +-1.6 miles of Flint River frontage in Taylor County GA. This aesthetic and productive farm provides annual income from +-192 acres of fields and can provide periodic income from +-242 acres of mature hardwood and pine timber on upland and bottom sites. Historically the fields were in pasture, but most are now in row crop production (corn, wheat, cotton, soybeans). +-35 acres are irrigated by center pivot (the farmer owns the irrigation equipment). Shoal bass, largemouth bass, redbreast, bluegill, channel catfish, flathead catfish, and crappie are some of the primary game fish in this stretch of the Flint. The Flint is great for kayaking and canoeing, and with adequate water level, careful motor boating. For the adrenaline junkie, Yellow Jacket Shoals with class III and IV rapids is about +-17 miles upstream (+-12 miles as the crow flies). There is a public boat ramp +-0.2 miles downstream at US19, and +-13 miles upstream at Po Biddy Rd.

There is an aesthetic old homesite with two old barns remaining. The old barns provide charm, and an aesthetic vista of the farm. For the Indian and/or Civil War history buff, the area is very rich in artifacts and history.
